The interior project is based on preserving historical values and improving them according to contemporary requirements. Wall paintings and decorative elements were restored in hallways, while a functional minimum was created in apartments. Paying attention to details, the varied ceiling decorations were restored; next to the natural floors and cement tiles, slate was used for the window sills of the kitchens and the bathrooms. The colour gamut of the interior was based on the Latvian grey and relating to the paintings on the staircase walls. Colours of their ornaments reflect in the tiles of the apartments, but toned down. Both demo apartments are made stylistically distinctive on purpose to demonstrate their future owners that the living space can be adapted in keeping with their taste.
